Rain Barrel
We need help getting a stand build for our rain barrel. We need to get it off the ground so that the children can get water from it without having to go from the top. Is there anyone that can help?

Mrs. Woodley and Ms. Kramer would like to welcome the newest group of Nature Club gators!
Our Nature Club will focus on creating a school garden with fruits and vegetables, we will be collecting fruits and vegetables from the cafeteria to create compost for our garden both in a compost barrel and with worms, we collect rain in a rain barrel for our garden and we also care for our bird population by feeding them and tending to the school birdhouses.
If we have any parents who are handy with building, have a green thumb, or would like to help gather supplies please feel free to email Mrs. Woodley at swoodley@richland2.org.

A fellow teacher shared this information with me and I would like to share it with you!
It's that time of year! The nest cams are coming online and soon we'll be able to watch live feed of baby birds from around the US. This nest is in Decorah, Iowa and is located near the Iowa Fish Hatchery. You can view live feed from the cam here:
Read more about the Decorah eagles and the eaglets hatched in this nest site here:
WARNING: Once the eggs hatch the feeding times can be a bit graphic!
Thank you Susan McCarthy for Sharing!!
- Recycling Club will run Thursday this week, please have your bins out and ready to be picked up that morning.
- Recycling Club will meet Friday Morning for a special guest speaker 7:30-8:00.
Finally, we still need your red recycling bin if you would like to donate it to our club. We are doing such a good job recycling at our school we could use the extra bins.
